A history lesson

The following pages contain a bit of historical information about us. That may help to context what you find on the other pages.

Meeting each other

Shona and I met via the Internet! It was so great to finally meet a real person who actually was everything they said they were.

The photos shown here are the ones we had attached to our profiles at the time.

When we met, I sent a note out to all the other people I was corresponding with (there were 23 of them.) It appears in the next section across:

I’ve been looking for my soul mate for a while, and tried all manner of Internet web presence. Just as I was giving up on it all as a bad idea, along comes one little lady who currently lives in Perth, but will be living in Melbourne in the coming months.

Everything about us has clicked into place! We are both totally accepting of everything about the other. And we feel so wonderful in the knowledge of our shared future!

I never ever thought I’d fall for an older lady, but maybe that’s what I needed all along?

I wish you well in your search….What I have right now is so wonderful – everyone should feel this way at some time in their lives!

Internet relationships

Logo borrowed (with thanks) from the site Shona and I met onDo dating and relationship web sites work? Whilst Shona and I met this way, dating sites are just as much hard work as going out and meeting someone. More...

Are you or someone you are close to a recent amputee and now trying to cope with the frustrations of a mechanically impaired body?

You don't need to go through it alone!

Mike is a right below knee amputee and is happy to share experiences before and after becoming an amputee if they will help someone to cope better on this forum.

Ladies - Into health / crafting?
